Hi Roosl,
How ya been? I don't hear from you people often, but
then again, you don't hear from me as frequently
either, so I guess we're fair.
It's funny that my first winter in Arizona was the
rainiest one this area has had in eleven years! The
good thing is that it has really helped with the long
drought situation here.
It's interesting here, how a short drive away there
are ski resorts with all the snow and freezing
temperatures any idiot could want, yet here in
the "Valley of the Sun", the heaviest clothing I've
worn in the past year is a sweater.
So now we have the vernal equinox upon us! Spring
has arrived, and I'm certain that you who haven't
spent this past winter in 50 - 70 degree weather are
happy about it!
Actually, I am too, just to
see the longer sunny days return.

Well, the recent move went well, and the new place
is great! All the landscaping is xeriscape (desert
plantings, rock and such), so there is no silly lawn
maintenance. As well, the commute is nice and short!
Professionally, I've been having a great time
doing UNIX security work for a very nice large
banking company.
Given the blessing of this great new day gig, and
the time I have for other things, and most of
all...
Due to lack of interest and response lately from
readers, as well as the time I am not spending
on this project, I have decided that this newsletter
will be cut back..
The lack of attention to new artwork and software at
Roosl's Graphic Design is also a result of these days
and times of mine.
If you remain a subscriber, I thank you, and you may
expect an occasional seasonal missive. The monthly
issue and frequent gallery and software updates, as
you may have noticed, are now a low priority.
If you are one of the many folks reading this in the
newsletter archives (back issues), I thank you too for
your interest.

| Lots of Visitors to Roosl's |
|
I am happy to report that lately the website has seen
an enormous increase in traffic. Over the last few
months, individual visitors and requests from domains
have been averaging 3,000 per day, sometimes
22,000 per week (round numbers). It's fun to see
what pages and individual files are the most popular.
It seems the gallery gets the most requests, but
would you like to see the one file that has been
viewed the most for the last couple of weeks? It's
funny, because it's in a rather obscure page at the
site.

| Keep Coming Back! |
|
It's been a lot of fun having the time to dedicate to
this project, and frequent newsletters. I'm going to
return to the mindset most of you are most familiar
with...
Keep in touch, and come back to the website now
and then to see what's new!

God,
Many people don't like it when we mention you. It's
like I'm supposed to keep you a secret, or at least
keep you out of my earthly business. Well, I proudly
and gladly mention you here, where the whole world
can see, and if people turn their backs on me
because I publicly thank you for your blessings, that's
OK.
Forever grateful to God for His given blessings, I'll
never say enough about what His presence and
meaning are to me in my life...
